Download of Tycho-Gaia Astrometric Solution (TGAS) Source Catalog

The whole contents of the Gaia source catalog can be downloaded as separate 16 fits files or pipe-separated-value (psv) files. Total file size is 660MB for fits files or 700MB for gzipped psv files.

  1. Download URL list file linked below.
  2. Download the fits or psv files by using wget command:
     $ wget --content-disposition -i gaiadr1-tgas_source-fits-url.dat
  3. The files will be saved in the current directory.
